Law firm
Check a contract against your own standard clauses, not against the law in general
A general assistant knows the law; it does not know the firm’s position on liability caps, nor the wording you spent three years negotiating with that particular client. Every associate starts again from their last contract, found from memory.

Nothing to configure. The blueprint derives the agents, their speciality and the folders they need — and submits the lot before writing anything.
"We do commercial law. I want an incoming contract compared against our standard clauses, with every deviation flagged next to the reference clause."
- Contract analyst/contracts
Identifies clauses and compares them to the firm’s models
- Case law watcher/case-law
Relates a disputed clause to the decisions you rely on
- Position keeper/positions
Recalls the firm’s stance on sensitive points
The workspace takes shape
What you upload and what has to be written together, kept apart. The folders carry the words of your trade — never /documents.
The folders are created in your drive. You put your documents in them.
- /contracts/incoming7 files
Drafts received, awaiting review
- /case-law31 files
The decisions the firm treats as references
- /modelsempty
Your standard contracts, the authoritative ones
These documents do not exist yet. The assistant asks you questions and writes them.
- /positions/liability.mdwritten
The firm’s stance on liability caps
- /positions/data.mdto write
What you accept and refuse on data processing
You ask, the team works
Every step is visible while it runs: the file read, the specialist consulted. The answer cites the paths it relies on.

Where the AI stops and asks
These checkpoints are written into workflow.md, in plain text. Between two of them the AI works alone; it does not cross one. You decide where they fall.
- Before anything is sent to the client: an analysis is not an opinion, and the lawyer signs it.
- Before adding a decision to the firm’s reference case law.
- As soon as a deviation touches a point the memory marks as going up to the partner.
The project remembers
Your decisions carry from one conversation to the next — and you can read them, correct them, erase them. A memory you cannot contradict is not one.
Re-read on every request. Correct what is wrong, erase what no longer serves.
## Decisions - Negotiation floor: 12 months of subscription on the liability cap. - Client Nexatel obtained an exception in 2025 — do not generalise it. - Any non-solicitation clause beyond 24 months goes up to the partner. ## Preferences - Quote the reference clause next to every flagged deviation.
Frequently asked questions
- Do my clients’ files leave the firm?
- They stay in your drive: Ts-Agents reads them there, and our database holds no copy of your documents — only technical indexes. The extracts needed to answer a question go to the model provider you chose, on your own key, so you also choose who sees them.
- Does the AI give legal advice?
- No, and the workflow forbids it explicitly. The project procedure places a checkpoint before anything is sent to a client: the agent produces a comparative analysis with its sources cited, the lawyer reviews and signs it. An analysis is not an opinion.
- How does the firm enforce its positions?
- By writing them down, once. The files under /positions are drafted with the assistant from your answers, then re-read by the agents on every request. A corrected position applies to the whole firm immediately, with nothing to reconfigure.
